Hey, I’m Jess! I’m all about celebrating vegetables and rethinking our relationship with them on our plates as the often neglected afterthought of a side dish.

Meat-free cooking is a surprisingly great way of increasing your creativity and skills in the kitchen as you learn new techniques, flavours and cuisines to help your vegetables become the delicious centrepiece they were always meant to be!

When people learn that I don’t eat meat, I’m often met with questions around the difficulty of being ‘limited’, but I see it as entirely the opposite. When I ate meat many years ago, my meals would revolve around the four animals most widely consumed by meat-eaters: cow, pig, lamb and chicken. I now eat a far more varied, exciting range of dishes from all corners of the globe and I whole-heartedly believe that having a vegetable-centric approach to eating is the greatest thing for our collective health, environment, creativity and enjoyment of food.

I hope my website inspires you and becomes a resource for you when you want simple meat-free dishes to try. Jess x
