5 ingredient creamy miso ramen

This is a recipe for when you want all the ramen flavours you know and love but you don’t have the time or energy for a complex broth.

It’s a cheat’s ramen, really as it relies heavily on the seasoning sachet you find in the cheap ready noodle packets.

Top with whatever you like, but a soft boiled egg, some greens and spring onions always go down well in my house!

Time to cook: 5 minutes

Ingredients (serves 1):

  • 1 ready noodle packet (the chicken flavor ones are usually veggie friendly)

  • 1 tbsp white miso paste

  • 1 tbsp milk (any kind will do but the creamier, the better)

  • 1tsp chilli oil

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Method:

  1. Cook the packet noodles to instruction in 500ml boiling water

  2. In your serving bowl, whisk together the rest of the ingredients

  3. Once your noodles are cooked, add to the serving bowl (with the water they were boiling in) and mix all together

….really, that’s all there is to it.
